Can the Titan post anchor be used on a composite deck surface?

Blocking between Joists

I should add that it is a bit over kill to use the vertical edge blocking technique. You could just as easily laminate 2-2x8s and lay them flat between the joists then secure them.

Yest it can.

The only thing you have to do is ensure that there is good solid blocking below the deck boards and between the joists to ensure that the fasteners penetrate solid wood below.

Laminate 4 or 5 2x6 or 2x8 face to face and cut to length so they fit tightly and perpendicularly between the joists directly below where you wish to locate a post.
