Can I use Titan Post Anchors on a 6x6 PT retaining wall?

I've built a 3' high retaining wall using PT 6x6's with gravel back fill. It is possible to use the Titan Post anchors to install regular deck style railing (not a privacy fence that would catch a lot of wind) on top of the wall ?

My apologies but I guess you were also referring to the 4x4 post anchor on a 6x6 landscape tie. Yes it will still work and in fact a 6x6 anchor would not quite fit on a 6x6 landscape tie.

The actual size of a 4x4 anchor is 5.5x5.5 whereas the base of a 6x6 anchor is 7.5x7.5".

But how close you space posts depends on a number of things such as the total length in any given direction before a corner etc.

Yes you can. In fact we have just completed further engineering tests on the 6x6 anchor with a single unsupported 42" pressure treated pine post against the standards in AC273 set out by the International Code Council. The results were great. A single 42" post had an average load to failure of 504 lbs.

So yes, you should find it to be plenty strong. If you have the posts at 4 feet apart a railing would be 2.5x above the code requirement of 50 lbs per foot uniform load as a guide for you.
