Tearing during composite extrusion?

by Mike

Purchased Fiberon Good Life product. I have purchased this last year without issue. The current batch is full what a Fiberon rep is calling "tears" which occur during extrusion process. They appear quite extensive (see pic), every few inches across the board(s). I'm concerned that this will be problematic even though the rep says this is common and does not affect the structural integrity of the boards. Would you install this on your deck?

Thanks !!
Mike

The boards shown were installed about 2 years ago as Fiberon indicated their warranty is good. No problems thus far. I will say the boards can feel somewhat springy in summer temps even with 16" centered joists, but not enough to indicate a problem. As a home inspector this is not something I would flag as an issue.
